Are you someone like me, who can tell the difference between a tomato sandwich made from home grown tomatoes and homemade bread vs. store bought? Even if they are the expensive heirlooms in season, and a fresh from the bakery loaf, there is just something very special about food we make with our own hands, or something that comes from someone who made it for us, from scratch, with love.
It seems even more potent when it is the medicines we receive to heal ourselves, spiritually and physically, made with love, by hand.
For the past 12 years, we’ve been responsibly sourcing our Huachuma medicine from loving hands in Peru, and have been so grateful for the good medicines we’ve shared, but we are delighted to say that we are now serving medicine that is prepared with our own hands, grown locally, and cold-processed so it is macrobiotic: LIVING MEDICINE for the LIVING WISDOM community!
So far, the feedback is that it tastes amazing, feels amazing, and has a special vibrancy and vibration that is unmistakable.
Not a thing wrong with the beautiful medicine we have been serving from our dear familia down in Peru, and we agree . . . the living medicine is a game changer.
It does take a LOT more time and effort, but after experiencing the difference, we are committed to providing this amazing, powerful, yet oh so gentle macrobiotic medicine for the foreseeable future.
And we know, you are probably really curious about the cold process, yes? It is not rocket science, but it is a sacred practice for us, and so we ask that you create your own relationship with this medicine and with us if you want to learn how we make it. For the basics, it’s probably available at the University of YouTube or discoverable through the vaults of ChatGPT, and for us, it has been a long road of listening to and working with these sacred Huachuma allies to learn how to do it the way we do it, and it’s not something to exchange lightly over texts or emails.
If you’re not yet familiar, Huachuma is a heart opening medicine that brings a sense of great clarity, and can often provide a clean and clear stop to bad habits, addictions, and self-sabotaging behaviors. Sometimes it’s a “one and done,” experience, for some, it is an ongoing relationship that continues to help to peel away old layers of trauma and liberate the authentic, powerful soul purpose so it can guide your path moving forward.
We have space in our ceremony this month, but we do tend to fill up long before our ceremony date. (GET OUR CALENDAR HERE)
We have a vetting process that requires an application as well as thorough training and preparation so that all those who show up are at an unusually well educated and grounded space, even if it’s their first time. We find it makes for much gentler and deeper experiences for everyone.

2. Register by choosing one of the 3 options in the “HOW CAN I REGISTER?” section (found below) and following the instructions.
3. Let us know which ceremony you’d like to attend (we do fill up fast so RSVP ASAP and have

5. Review all of the materials under “HOW DO I PREPARE?” (found below).

HOW CAN I REGISTER?
We rely on donations to keep these ceremonies sustainable. A 10 person ceremony in the Bay Area typically runs $500-700 per person, per ceremony.
There are 3 options for you to register:
- You can make a one time donation between $400-700 via PayPal to LivingWisdomChurchCA@gmail.com or you can contact us to arrange other payment options.
- You can become a Patreon member (https://patreon.com/livingwisdom) which includes ENTHEOJEDI Training, Guided Meditations, Sound Healing recordings, rituals and more PLUS access to ceremony. PLEASE NOTE: This option was created for folks who want to be an ongoing part of our community. We ask that you consider making a commitment of at least 6 months to use this option.
- At the $133 Pathfinder level you can attend 1 medicine ceremony quarterly (minimum 3 month membership) without charge
